Redbridge’s New HomeXpert

HomeXperts are excited to announce that Birsen Bal has completed the purchase of HomeXperts Ilford.

Birsen will be rebranding the franchise as HomeXperts Barkingside, and shall be joining us at our Support Office Training Academy later this month. Birsen is eager to get her business up and running quickly so she can begin to make an impact on the face of estate and letting agency in her local area.

We took the time to get to know Birsen a little better before she started her intensive training academy, this is what she had to say: What experience do you have in the property industry? Birsen: I have always had an interest in the property industry and regularly kept up to date with what is up for sale, at what price around my local area.

Although I don’t have any experience in this field I am confident once I receive my training at the HomeXperts Training Academy and complete my NFOPP tests and with my local knowledge I will be a successful estate agent.

How come you decided to open a franchise in Barkingside? Has this always been a big location for you? Birsen: The city of Barkingside has been home to me since 1988 and it’s only right that I would open a franchise here, where I am most at home! Clearly you are fond of Barkingside. What is your highlight of the region? Birsen: I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else. It’s far enough out of the centre of the city to bring a change of scenery and close enough to keep up with the hustle and bustle I enjoy so much.

Redbridge is the fourth most diverse community in England and Wales and has so much variety to offer, Redbridge schools were placed 11th out of 151 Local Authorities nationally for the percentage of pupils with five or more A* – C grades at GCSE including English and Mathematics in 2013, 41% of Redbridge is green space and is one of the greenest boroughs in London with award winning parks and gardens.

I am really fond of Redbridge, our local community, I love the school run where everyone you see on the street day after day, for years become part of your family. One of your greatest values we recognized when you bought your franchise, is your priority on exceptional customer service. Can you tell us why this is so important to you? Birsen: I?m a firm believer in clients receiving a service that provides them with everything they need as well as some tasks which go beyond the call of duty.

My expectations of any service is exceptional and I expect myself to provide just as an exceptional customer service as I would expect to receive. I have to believe in what I am offering, I have to be satisfied first, if it’s not good enough for me, it’s not good enough for my clients. What key qualities attracted you to the HomeXperts franchise? Birsen: I felt in sync with HomeXperts consumer-focused ethics, ensuring the client is always looked after and provided with an outstanding service.

The fact that all the franchisees are experts in their local areas means I am joining a bunch of like-minded professionals who want to succeed in their individual communities. Being able to benefit from facilities such as the HomeXperts Hub and Training Academy were considerable factors as I felt HomeXperts go out of their way to provide an excellent platform for their franchisees to thrive on.

How do you figure to stand out from the crowd and ensure your business will be successful and profitable for years to come? Birsen: By providing a consistent exceptional service, I will build a reputation as the estate and letting agent that helps her clients to move home quickly and hassle-free.

Would you like to add anything else? Birsen: I can’t wait to start winning instructions in 2015! I am looking forward to the Head Office Training Academy, although I know I will have to put a lot of effort in, however I’m sure I will be seeing the dividends in no time at all. Most of all though I want to start building a repertoire with my local customers.
